On a beautiful morning, as she stepped out into the garden of her new home, she realised a plant which she knew to have the leaves of a Peony had in fact turned out to be a very special variety of Peony, which I had never imagined. There one day and gone a few days after, the Bowl of Beauty really lived up to it's name, with 25 flowers. 'Bowl of Beauty' is an herbaceous perennial to 80cm tall, with mid-green, divided leaves and cupped cerise-pink flowers 20cm wide, with a central mass of narrow, creamy-white petaloids
