Gardenstown in Aberdeenshire, on Scotland's north sea coast, is on a road slightly less well travelled and so somewhat of a wonderful hidden gem, the topography of the village is exceptional with a dramatic gradient from the upper part of the village to the lower shoreline and harbours areas. When I walk around here, it takes a long time with many points of focus narrow passages and imaginative notions of what the old days must have been like, and then the realisation that I will never really know, for there is something of an air of mystery and intrigue as how this place came to be...
