Description
At Duff House Aberdeenshire Scotland, built in 1740 designed by Architect William Adam, there are several examples of extremely beautiful Georgian Trabeation. I see the facade as indeed a giant work of art with each of the components standing out in their own right as well as being part of the whole. The viewer scans the scene homing in on smaller areas, then steps back to wonder at the House within the landscape. So many layers of interpretation..., it takes time and we often lose ourselves in that time, such is intensity of absorbing the sight.
