Description
Loch Assynt Highland Scotland, on a special reflection perfect morning a freshwater loch in Sutherland, Scotland, A local source advised this was very special time when the water on the loch is perfectly still and one might visit the area many times and never see this incredibly attractive sight. Sure enough, gradually the breeze brought back ripples to the water and the mirror was distorted then gone completely. Sure enough I never saw such a sight again until about six years later. 8 kilometres ENE of Lochinver. Situated in a spectacular setting between the heights of Canisp, Quinag and Beinn Uidhe, it receives the outflow from Lochs Awe, Maol a' Choire, and Leitir Easaich. It discharges into the sea at Loch Inver, via the river Inver.

Perfection in the reflection! Good depth, clarity and composition. A beautiful piece that captures the absolute stillness in the moment.
